In this episode, we used our quarantine time to binge two documentaries. Tiger King and McMillions. What’s your opinion of Carole Baskin?

Joe Exotic

Have you gotten a chance to watch Tiger King on Netflix? It was one heck of a ride for us. Joe exotic’s music will live in infamy on the show. We look forward to more of a conclusion with regards to the other exotic animal owners that were featured within the series. If you are sensitive to Animal Abuse issues, please be forewarned that this series will have some triggering events.

McMillions

McMillions is now on Hulu for a limited time and we highly recommend you check it out. We definitely have memories of playing the game at McDonald’s and it’s a wild ride to see what happened behind the scenes.

This weekend should have been Wondercon 2020 in Anaheim. We miss hanging out with our fellow nerds and cosplayers but please take a look at our 2019 Cosplay Gallery  and 2018 Cosplay Gallery to relive the best costumes we saw last year in Anaheim!

Rachel mentions a group called the Maskeraiders who are helping to provide fabric masks to hospitals through an “assembly line” approach. If you would like to help, please go to their website and check out what you can do!

Let us know if you have any questions or feedback by messaging us on Facebook or emailing us at contact@thenerdlys.com

We’d really appreciate if you leave feedback for our little show on Apple Podcasts or Stitcher also. Thanks!

The Nerd Lys is a podcast from the brains and voices of Chris and Rachel Ly. We just want to talk about nerdy stuff with creative people.
